Journalistic talent abounds in South Africa. The aim of the Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards is to discover, through a countrywide search, those gifted people whose work can be honored and rewarded.
Nanda Soobben was declared the winner of the KZN Region of the Vodacom Journalist of the Year: Cartoonist. Soobben a prolific, accomplished and widely published cartoonist is an animator, journalist and founder of the Centre for Fine Art Animation and Design
