Purpose of Position
To design promotional material such as: Catalogues, Pamphlets, Leaflets, Job vacancies, Advertisements, Banners, Stands and any other marketing & advertising material.

Minimum Requirements

• Formal qualification in Graphic Design or studying towards a formal qualification. Alternatively, sufficient suitable working experience.
• Knowledge of Creative Suite 2 or 3
• Knowledge of design, media, sales and marketing, English and Afrikaans.
• Good Communication skills
• Clear vision and visual colour discrimination
• Ability to think independently and critically.
• Ability to organise, plan, prioritise,
• Able to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships at work.
• General traits : Attention to detail, Innovative and original, Able to take initiative, Creative, Dependable , Adaptable, Stress tolerance (ability to deal with criticism), Co-operation, Integrity, Ability to focus on solutions, Must be accurate and exact, Ability to have original, fluent ideas, Willingness to comply with standing procedures and rules.
• Work context : Indoors, environmentally controlled, working at a workstation with a telephone, face to face discussions, spending greatest portion of time sitting at a desk in front of a computer, 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.
