Nelson Mandela's passing at 20:50 on the 5th of December is a great loss to the world. Another Elder Statesman, Archbishop Desmond Tutu said that the best way to honour the great man's memory is to carry on the mandates the he had given. To keep Madiba's memory alive we must strive to uphold the ideals for which he was prepared to die.
Following in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi, Madiba showed the world that democracy can be achieved through reconciliation and forgiveness.
It is a sad day for South Africa and the World. To uphold Madiba's memory and legacy we should strive to be the best we can be.
Go well Nelson Mandela...
