Arts administrator, Art and Culture Entrepreneur
- Qualified educator, with fifteen years of experience at both secondary and tertiary institutions in education and business.
- Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in Fine Art, History of Art and Philosophy.
- Honours Degree in Philosophy
- Higher Diploma in Education - distinction in Teaching Practice.

- Executive Member (secretary) of South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) Benoni Branch (1991 – 1994) Instrumental in the building of union structures and campaigning on the recognition of the union by the apartheid government, and the drive to increase membership.
- Tasked with Total Quality Management of the Institution - in line with South African Qualifications Authority’s (SAQA), and Council on Higher Education (CHE).
- Serves on the SAQA Standards Generating Body for Arts and Culture Based Education.
- Undergone training with the MAPPP-SETA as a skills development facilitator and assessor.
- Interacts regularly with the Ministry of Arts Culture and Tourism through the office of Mr Bonga E Ntanzi.
- Personally supervised the training of Fine Artists, Graphic Designers, Web designers
and DTP operators for 6 years.
- Member: business and cultural delegation to Reunion Island in 2004
- Attended an international workshop entitled “Competitive advantage through Design”,
National Institute of Design, India.
- Launched an art and culture free sheet called GrafikFokus In October 2005
- Owner: media and communications company: SACI (Pty) Ltd trading as “South African Communications Initiative”
