“You are among distinguished men and women who contributed to the birth of the New South Africa,” said keynote speaker and CFAD Advisory Chair – Ravi Govender, at the graduation ceremony of CFAD’s 2009 Class. “But you have an even stronger role to play. Each era there is an artist who has shaped new meaning and is recognised as a leader.
“Design is a part of our lives. Shapes, colours and designs impact each of us. We live in an era of consumption and its up to you to move away from all that is known and make your own way. Remember, opportunity dances with those on the dance floor.”
