Design a logo for CREATIVE CAREERS competition

Design Brief and Competition Guidelines

The client base will include a wide variety of creatives, ranging from freelance sound engineers and art gallery managers to music professors, fashion design assistants and festival organisers. Creative Careers will be the first online career portal that caters exclusively for these industries.
Creative Careers is passionately committed to the well-being of the South African creative and performing arts industries. By providing this job portal we believe that we are connecting job seekers with recruiters in a meaningful and effective way.
There will be three kinds of clients:
1. Job seekers
2. Job advertisers
3. General product/ event advertisers

The web address is www.creativecareers.co.za, and the site is scheduled to go live during January 2011.

The logo needs to be truly unique, but it doesn’t need to include a symbol – it could simply be built and designed around the font and the wording. It needs to represent all the creative industries in a meaningful way and must also be:
 Happy
 Simple
 Sophisticated
 Modern
 CREATIVE

The slogan is:
“Work opportunities in South Africa’s music, dance, art and entertainment industries.”
This slogan will more often than not appear with the logo.
